Registration is now over and all our Stick Horses have been "adopted"! However, you can still create your own fundraising page! Try it, it's fun! Just click this link, select "Stick Horses on Parade" and then choose the second or third option to create a fundraising page.

Kids, participate in this great event during a Rochester Red Wings baseball game and raise awareness and funds for the EquiCenter, a not-for-profit therapeutic horse center located in Mendon that benefits people with disabilities and at-risk youth throughout our community. Funds raised will help the EquiCenter continue to offer its unique therapeutic programs as well as expand and serve even more people.

WHAT:
- Register online and the EquiCenter will provide you a wooden stick horse to decorate.
- Bring your decorated stick horse to the Rochester Red Wings game on Friday, May 30th. While there, you will enjoy a special pre-game picnic dinner in the “Nest” (behind the right field wall), parade around the field with lots of other kids on your stick horses, watch the game and then stay for post-game fireworks!
- Win great prizes for creativity and fundraising! You could win two round-trip AirTran Airways airline tickets, a Raleigh mountain bike, an iPod and more! Everyone who raises $25 gets an event t-shirt!
WHEN:
- Friday, May 30th, 2008 – gates open at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Scranton/WB Yankees.
WHERE:
- Frontier Field, 333 N. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, N.Y.
COST:
- $15 (includes all of the above – even your wooden stick horse!)
What are the prizes?
There will be prizes for the top 3 fundraisers as well as for the most creative stick horses. In addition, anyone raising at least $25 in pledges will receive a SHOP t-shirt! Top fundraising prizes include 2 free roundtrip tickets from AirTran Airways and a Raleigh mountain bike!
Fundraising Pledge Incentives:
- top fundraiser receives two round-trip Air Tran airline tickets
- second highest fundraiser receives a Raleigh mountain bike
- third highest fundraiser receives an iPod
- raise $25 and receive a Stick Horses on Parade event t-shirt
- raise $75 and receive a nylon sports bag
- raise $150 and receive a Camelbak water bottle
What do you need to do to participate?
First:
Online registration and fundraising are now available! Just click the button at right and follow the instructions to register for SHOP. After you register online, you can build your own fundraising page. Tell all your friends and family about your page so they can go there to donate online! While registering you may also buy additional tickets for friends and family accompanying the participant for $15/person.

Decorate your stick horse any way you like (the more creative the better!) and just show up to the game on May 30 and be ready to have FUN!
